Camping stuff: generic, non Jimny
This is a page about building a curriculum on camping with a Jimny. It’s broader than just what my gear is but is about providing resources to help people up their camping game or get out there for the first time.
It also has some car camping oriented bushcraft tips. I’m not a survivalist, a prepper or someone who claims to be anything other than a function bushcraft person, but this is a collection of life hacks and tips I’ve learnt over the years.
- Your first camping trip
- Thinking Jimny-sized gear: an essay on downsizing and how minimal is minimalist for you
- Finding where to go camping
- Security and keeping yourself safe and healthy in the bush
- Bug(ger) off, insects!
- First aid: for you/others and the car
- Water: drinking, cooking, cleaning
- Cooking and food
- Sleeping places: in-car sleeping, tents, swags and more!
