Installing rearset/footpeg riser plates
Demonstrated on a GSR750, these plates also fit gen1 Hayabusas (GSX1300R) and B-Kings. Might also give you an idea on knocking up your own universal riser plates for bikes where you cannot get or cannot afford full replacement rearsets.

Citric acid rust removal
This is a simple way to bring life back to old parts. Cheap, environmentally safe and it works wonderfully. What more could you ask for?
